Senior Chemistry – Marrickville

SENIOR CHEMISTRY

In this second term of introductory chemistry, we’ll be looking at chemical bonding, metals and non-metals, different compound structures, reaction rates, as well as balancing equations and much more on the elements.

Every session includes a practical element as well as chemistry theory. The only prerequisite for joining us is that you are responsible enough to light matches (and burners) without adult supervision and that you can read and write proficiently.

Where: Marrickville
When: Fridays, 11:15-12:45
Last 5 weeks of term 2 – starting 8th of June

Sydney Homeschool Choir

We meet on Thursdays in West Pymble Bicentennial Park and love welcoming new members. No experience or special singing skills required – we sing music that is fun and easy to learn and welcome all voices and abilities. Come and join a group of 30 adults, kids and teens playing sax, clarinet, flute, violin, cello, guitar, uke, drums, keyboard, trumpet, recorder, bass and more. We meet at West Pymble Scout Hall on Thursdays 9:30 – 10:45 and we love welcoming new members of ages, abilities and instruments! ESHE Friday Co-Op

The Eastern Suburbs Home Education Co-Op is organised by homeschool parents for homeschooled children. It is a day for the children (and parents should they wish) to participate in various activities while the parents are saved the hassle of driving to numerous venues. Each term, a variety of activities are on offer. This term, we have: The Makery – a space for kids (and parents) to explore art, craft, science and a little history and geography too, through nature-based activities.
