KinHub offers neuro affirming and trauma informed sessions every Tuesday during school terms in Marrickville (10.30am – 1.30pm) for kids age 5-15+. Sessions run for 3hrs and cost $45 (paid by the term). What’s included:
- Facilitated programs with expert mentors (eg drama, street art, film) – PDA friendly approach
- Unstructured activities (eg pool table, ping pong, arts/crafts/STEM)
- All materials and mentors
- Access to additional KinHub offsite activities + opportunities (additional fees may apply for ticketed excursions)
- Access to the KinHub community & networks
- Connection and informal support for parents/carers
- Supported group environment to help young people build positive peer connections
- Access to outdoor park space for movement, sensory breaks + informal play
I know committing to a full term can feel like a huge step (especially for our cohort). Getting out the door isn’t always straightforward and some weeks will be harder than others. But what we see again and again is that the consistency is what makes the difference. Same space, same people, week after week — that’s what allows trust to build and a real sense of safety, connection, belonging and friendships to grow over time.
