Dear Mathematics Coordinator, or to whom it may concern,

I am writing to you on behalf of the Australian Mathematics Trust (AMT).  Your school has been a regular participant in our Australian Maths Competition which is held each year in August. We believe that you may not previously have been involved in the competition, and we thought we’d reach out to let you know more about it.

About the AMC

First run in 1978, the AMC is Australia’s longest-running, largest and most well-known maths competition for school students.

Like all our competitions, the AMC contains unique problems designed each year by leading educators and academics to challenge and extend your students’ problem-solving skills.

Our promotional offer
To give you and your students an opportunity to experience AMC’s quality maths, we are offering you a free PDF of a past paper for primary and/or secondary divisions including answer keys so you can try some problems with students.

To accept this offer simply reply to this email with the text PRIM, SEC or PRIMSEC and we will email the past papers to you.

You can read about the promotional offer here.
