CHEEKY MONKEYS 4-5yrs PRESCHOOL CLASS
Thursday 10.00am-11.30am
A great way to help your kid get messy, have lots of fun, explore & experiment with all sorts of materials. This is a class that will offer guided activities including drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, sculpture & clay work. It will encourage your little person to explore the elements of art: line, shape, form, texture & colour through the practical activities. They will be encouraged to use & understand the art language when they talk about their artwork. It will provide a solid foundation for creative thinking & the processes involved. It will also help them to enjoy the visual environment & the act of being creative. A gift for everyone! Emphasis will be on the processes involved in the activities. Great preparation for BIG SCHOOL!
ART JUST FOR FUN 5-8 yrs
Thursday 12.00noon-1.30pm
This is a class designed for young artists. Kids will be introduced to a wide selection of art activities including ceramics, drawing, painting, printmaking, design, sculpture & collage. Within these artforms they will learn about the elements of art & how to combine these to make visually creative artworks. There will be some art history relating to the activities. Each new term will provide a different selection of activities to enable kids to expand their skills, enhance their experience & improve their confidence & creativity.
ART SMARTZ 8-12yrs
Thursday 2.00pm-3.30pm
Art Smartz is a class that caters for upper primary students. Kids will be introduced to the elements & principles of art through a wide variety of activities that will include a range of art media like ceramics, drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture design & collage. They will be taught the skills within the artforms & will have the opportunity to develop their own artworks. Kids will also learn some art history to complement the set art activities. Each new term will provide a different selection of activities to enable kids to expand their skills, enhance their experience & improve their confidence & creativity.
