Our Winter Market in West Pymble is happening this Thursday !
We are very excited to meet you and share this beautiful day, with stalls such as a hot chocolate stall, a pumpkin soup station, yarn crafts, lantern making, beads art, lip balms. cakes, and more.
Thank you to all who contacted us to hold a stall and make this market deliciously heartwarming ! If you want to take care of a stall, please contact me, there’s still time.
The market is opening up around 12.30, for a wrap up around 4pm, with a bush dance rehearsal led by Kara, and a lantern walk with lit lanterns at the end of the market (all supplies for the lantern making will be provided at the lantern stall for 4 dollars, including a battery tea candle).
Please remember that parents remain responsible for their children and their safety, and supervise and help them accordingly.
We suggest to bring some coins on the day for your purchases as there won’t be card machines or ATM on site, and to make it a hands-on learning experience for the children to use their maths skills, handle a budget, use real money.
Shen, the Sydney Home Education Network, which is a non-profit organisation run by volunteers, for home educators to connect through activities, meet ups and events, is sponsoring our event, providing funding to hire the scout hall and to buy tape, twine and paper to hang our decorations, and importantly, to provide us with insurance. It’s wonderful to see that Shen is eager to support us and future events, and help you make your idea come to life. Please contact them if you’d like to plan an event for your community.
