Woodwork classes will run this term on a Thursday 12 – 2pm for the following dates:
30 March, 6 April
Cost is $200 for 4 x 2 hour classes
For children 7 – 12 years.
Kerryn Carter will devise quirky projects with the focus on a particular tool each week. Tools include Japanese saws, hand drills, screwdrivers etc. No power tools. Kerryn has appeared on Better homes and Gardens and will soon feature on The Livingroom.
Children need to wear closed toed shoes and long hair needs to be tied back. All children will be expected to wear safety glasses (if they dont wear spectacles already). They will not be permitted to do anything in the workshop without glasses on. Kids who need a break from wearing glasses can do so as Kerryn sets up a chair on her driveway for that purpose. You can enter the workshop via the driveway gates which will be slightly ajar to let you walk through.
