Maritime Museum has a very special visitor on Monday 25th November! A ship called the Oosterschelde which is retracing the scientific journey of Charles Darwin on The Beagle to the Galapagos Islands, Patagonia among other exciting places. Students can watch some presentations from some youth conservation projects and then have a tour of the ship and get free access to galleries and other vessels at the museum. Students will hear from Chris Darwin (a descendant of Charles Darwin) as well as other scientists and conservations from across the globe.
This is a really good opportunity for any students 12yrs+ – it will book out quick. The event is FREE.
Also you can go to their website where they have great onsite learning classroom – focusing on science – https://worldsmostexcitingclassroom.com
