Create and Connect: Home School Edition (Ages 7 to 12) supports homeschooled students to think critically, create confidently and connect with others in a professional gallery setting.
Sessions begin with guided exploration of current exhibitions, where students analyse artworks, discuss artistic techniques and consider themes and ideas. These conversations build visual literacy, interpretation skills and confidence in expressing informed opinions.
In the studio, students extend their learning through hands-on artmaking, experimenting with materials and processes to develop their own creative responses. Projects are designed to strengthen technical skills, conceptual thinking and reflective practice.
Create & Connect complements home learning by combining structured creative development with meaningful peer interaction — encouraging students to deepen their artistic skills while engaging thoughtfully with contemporary art.
