For high school age students who are homeschooling and wanting to learn woodwork (beginners and Intermediate/Advance classes). Prepare yourselves to build terrific timber projects and make new friends. Working independently with supportive and highly experienced teachers.

Attend for 1 term or you can decide to attend all 4 terms for 2026, just pay by the term via the website during the relevant school holidays. Six week course (see dates on website)
Sign up for the time & day you would like for your child each term. The days are suitable for all the terms in 2026. Places must be paid for to secure your child’s spot. Attend the Woodchix workshop at 95 Great Western Hwy, Emu Plains and pay the teacher your $10 each visit. There will be information & talks one day each time slot per term on apprenticeships & other career options. Parents will be notified when the careers talks are to happen each term.
Cost $220 per Woodchix term + $10 per visit.
Min 4, Max 12 students per class.

Please note that if a scheduled time slot does not meet the minimum enrolment requirement, we may need to consolidate classes. In such cases, parents will be notified in advance, and students may be moved to an alternative time slot to ensure classes can proceed effectively.
