SUMMARY:KinHub (Inner West)
DESCRIPTION:KinHub offers neuro affirming and trauma informed sessions every Tuesday during school terms in Marrickville (10.30am – 1.30pm) for kids age 5-15+. Sessions run for 3hrs and cost $45 (paid by the term). What’s included:\n\n\n\nFacilitated programs with expert mentors (eg drama\, street art\, film) – PDA friendly approach\nUnstructured activities (eg pool table\, ping pong\, arts/crafts/STEM)\nAll materials and mentors\nAccess to additional KinHub offsite activities + opportunities (additional fees may apply for ticketed excursions)\nAccess to the KinHub community & networks\nConnection and informal support for parents/carers\nSupported group environment to help young people build positive peer connections\nAccess to outdoor park space for movement\, sensory breaks + informal play\n\n\n\n\n\nI know committing to a full term can feel like a huge step (especially for our cohort). Getting out the door isn’t always straightforward and some weeks will be harder than others. But what we see again and again is that the consistency is what makes the difference. Same space\, same people\, week after week — that’s what allows trust to build and a real sense of safety\, connection\, belonging and friendships to grow over time.\n\n\n\n\n\nJump on the website to find out more or register to attend at https://form.jotform.com/260787239585877

SUMMARY:Bell Shakespeare Junior Drama Workshop - Tues 3rd November\, 2026 10.30am-12.30pm (Ages 7-12)
DESCRIPTION:Primary Workshop- Intro into Shakespeare \nTHIS IS A REPEAT OF WORKSHOP HELD THE PREVIOUS TWO YEARS.   \nPLEASE NOTE THAT BELL SHAKESPEARE HAS SAID THEY ARE HAPPY TO DIVIDE GROUP UP INTO TWO GROUPS DEPENDING ON HOW MANY NEW STUDENTS AND HOW MANY RETURNING STUDENTS WITH SLIGHTLY MODIFIED WORK.  NEARER TO THE DATE OF THE WORKSHOP\, I WILL SURVEY ATTENDEES SO BELL SHAKESPEARE CAN MAKE THE BEST DECISION REGARDING THIS.  \n10.30am-12.30pm \nAges 7-12 \nWe believe our journey with Shakespeare should start young. Bell Shakespeare’s Intro to Shakespeare Primary workshop is designed to immerse students in Shakespeare through playful and interactive storytelling. Our teaching artists will take young students on a two-hour narrative journey through some of Shakespeare’s magical array of characters\, from a number of plays. Students will learn about character\, language techniques\, and expanding vocabulary. We’ll intersperse creative and critical thinking activities throughout so you can continue to explore Shakespeare long after we’ve gone. Most importantly\, we will deliver an entertaining\, engaging and informative Shakespeare immersion that will have students on their feet\, speaking and playing with Shakespeare. \nThis workshop has been very kindly subsidised by Bell Shakespeare \nWorkshop will be held at Bell Shakespeare premises – Pier 2/3\, Walsh Bay Arts Precinct\, Hickson Road\, Dawes Point (in between The Rocks and Barangaroo) \nPlease note: an accompanying adult and younger (non-participating) siblings are permitted to attend as audience but need to be very quiet (noises\, even whispers\, carry and can be disruptive).  We strongly suggest that if you have younger children\, that you sit outside the room with them as it is difficult for them to be quiet and sit still for the two hours of the workshop.  If you want a chat\, then there are tables and chairs outside the workshop room or outside the pier with beautiful views of the Harbour and lots of restaurants/cafes.  Once you are inside the workshop room\, we respectfully ask that you not move from there as this can be very disruptive for the teacher(s) and the workshop participants.
