DESCRIPTION:Antartica: an immersive theatrical experience \nThis activity is fully funded by Arts Assist and free for participants.  Please only sign up if you are genuine about attending. \nthis is aimed at students in grades k-4.\none parent per family group is permitted but no younger siblings permitted. \n\n\nThe show is a theatrical experience that brings the audience on an immersive sensory expedition through the icy world of Antarctica.\n\n\nStudents will step into a world of snow and ice and become part of Ernest Shackleton’s legendary expedition across Antarctica.\n\n\nSurrounded by sculptural icebergs\, swirling fabric seas and real ice\, students are gently guided through an extraordinary story of survival and teamwork.\n\n\nThe story explores themes of endurance\, friendship and finding your way home through ice and uncertainty – told not through words but through sensory wonder.\n\n\nThis performance supports units of study – covering Science\, Geography\, Sustainability and provides students and families with an unforgettable and interactive live theatre experience!\n\n\nhttps://www.sydneyoperahouse.com/kids-families/antarctica
