African Drumming, Singing and Dancing for Kids and Teens – Term 3

The Eastern Suburbs Homeschooling Co-Op is offering African Drumming, Singing and Dancing on a Friday. THIS IS A WEEKLY EVENT.

Designed for children, this energetic class offers a full cultural experience by a West African musician. The children will be provided with a djembe for the classes. They will learn various rhythms, songs and body movements which accompany their singing and playing. They will hear personal stories from West Africa, learning about the culture’s traditions and customs.

The term will run for 7 weeks, with a 3 week break mid-August to early September.

Depending on numbers (20 to 25 participants) the cost will vary between $21 and $26 per class, paid by the term.
